Fund Education

We provide sponsorship for AIDS Orphan's in Swaziland of all ages to attend school. This is a luxury they currently cannot afford. We believe that in order for these children to make a better life for themselves, their families and their community's education is essential. Many of these children have lost their families and live in absolute poverty. An education gives them hope and we will help as many children as possible realise their dream of getting an education.

Fund Health care

All of the children we support will have lost their parents to AIDS. It is unknown whether the children themselves are HIV positive as the tests are too expensive for them to take, even if they did take the tests they could never afford the medication to keep them healthy. We are raising funds to provide not only testing and antiretroviral treatment, but to provide basic health care for these AIDS orphans, such as worming medicine.

Other Support

In the rural communities in Swaziland the Orphans and many of the women lack the resources to access even the most basis necessities such as food, water, sanitary protection and clothes. Although it is difficult for these women to meet the needs of their own families, many still support the AIDS orphans in their communities. Some of the women run a neighbourhood care point where they will feed up to 160 children twice a day. This is incredible considering their financial restrains, yet they still work with the little resources they have to ensure these children, who no longer have families to support them are fed.

The Children Of Swaziland is raising money to support these incredible women to help meet the basis needs of these rural communities and to support the children and women in all aspects of their lives.
